Mentor Matching
Once accepted into the Case PREP, Scholars will be asked to select from a list of available Mentors. The Program Director and
Program Coordinator will work closely with each PREP Scholar to find a suitable laboratory.
Salary and Benefits
PREP Scholars become an employee of Case Western Reserve University with a salary of $21,000 per year. As an employee, Scholars
also will participate in Case's benefits package. Tuition for coursework taken as part of the PREP will be covered by the program.
Appointment
As is the case for the PREP in general, the duration of Scholar's participation will be individualized for each Scholar. Appointments
will be between 1 year to 2 years.
